Simple, sweet yarn bow necklace

I don't knit, I don't crochet but I love yarn.

It's cozy, soft, colorful...irresistible.

I also love bows, so combining the 2 for a fun little craft just seemed perfect.

A simple, sweet accessory...

the Yarn Bow Necklace.

I cut a piece of yarn about 24 inches...

(but you can adjust to any length)

tied a simple bow in the middle...

then cut a strip about 6 inches and laid it over the middle of the bow...

turned it over and double knotted ...

then tied the longer ends to desired necklace length...

and trimmed the ends of the yarn that hang down from the bow.

(to prevent fraying, I put a dab of clear glue on either end)
