A "Toast" to the Holidays - Hot Chocolate French Toast

There is nothing better than the Christmas spirit in the air, and a Hot Chocolate in your hand!
Warm, sweet, creamy and rich, my family just can't get enough.
It just makes everyone happy.
I'm surprising them with a special Christmas breakfast treat...
Hot Chocolate French Toast.

Decadent, delicious and so easy to make with just 3 ingredients.
Sliced French Bread, Eggs and International Delight Hot Chocolate.
Such a festive twist to French Toast...

Topped with butter, syrup and powdered sugar...

and served with Hot Chocolate of course.
International Delight's new Hot Chocolate comes in Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate.
All you do is pour, heat and savor.
As they like to say it's like getting a "hug in a cup".

So I am proposing a "toast" to the season and all the sweet festivities.
Enjoy it all!

Hot Chocolate French Toast
Makes approximately 8 "toasts"
Sliced French Bread
4 eggs
2 cups of International Delight Hot Chocolate, either Dark Chocolate or Milk Chocolate

Whisk Eggs and Hot Chocolate together in a bowl until well combined.  Dip bread into the mixture on both sides and place in griddle or skillet that has been warmed over medium heat.  Cook each side until golden, about 2 minutes each side. Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, marshmallows, shaved chocolate, whipped cream or anything you'd top your Hot Chocolate with.

  1. Yum.... you have some really fun holiday recipes on your blog this month! The french toast looks delicious and so do the gum drops and the red velvet donuts made with cake mix and peppermint! I think tomorrow is going to be the day we start doing some baking for the neighbors. Have a wonderful week!
