A combo of my two favorite colorful south of the border icons -
colorful paper flowers and tiny packets of chicles/gum...
The mini paper flowers are easy and fun to make.
I used a 2 inch scalloped punch to make the petals.
Just make sure you punch through a stack of tissue paper
(about 7-9 sheets thick) for best cut.
I like to have a big, bright assortment to work with...
Then pick 7 or 8 for your flower...
add a drop of hot glue to the first petal,
then stack on, adding a drop of glue to the center of each layer...
Let glue dry and cool,
and starting with the top petal,
crinkle and "fluff" until you have your gorgeous flower.
In a few minutes you will have this...
and you have a reason to throw a
Fiesta!
