I was given a free one-month subscription to try the new Simple Start plan and write about my experience. Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative are my own.
I love to cook and I love to eat.
I know that making just a few small changes in both,
(like no more chips!)
will make me feel better and hopefully help get me "beach ready" for the Spring.
There are many times I want to make something quick, healthy and new,
but I just don't know what.
Well, now I have some answers...
I started the Weight Watchers Simple Start plan last week and I am delightfully surprised.
The app makes it so easy to get started and instantly I had all new recipes at my fingertips!
The whole idea is just to keep it simple.
Pick a meal and eat it, don't worry about portions and don't deprive yourself.
I am a Cobb Salad addict,
so I made,
The Seriously Good Cobb Salad
I made a few to keep on hand for lunches during the week.
I layered the ingredients in mason jars, just to make it more fun.
Easy and delicious...
Another thing I love about Simple Start, are the daily quotes and inspiration.
Charles Schultz said a little chocolate won't hurt so...
I made,
Mini Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches.
The perfect sweet bite after a meal...
My first week with Simple Start was so easy that I feel a little guilty.
I told myself if I stuck with it I would treat myself…
It is supposed to be in the 70s this weekend,
I should still get a pedicure, don't you think?
