My Little Easter Egg-heads

 Believe it or not,
Easter is right around the corner!
While digging around for our decorations,
I found a bunch of plastic eggs next to a box of old photos.

And with some help from Mod Podge,
I hatched a batch of Nostalgic Easter Eggheads!

I used Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium and their Extreme Glitter,
(both available at Michael's)
it could not have been easier!

Simply print your favorite photos on regular paper and cut out,
then place on wax paper, printed side up and completely cover with
the Photo Transfer Medium
(about 1/16" thick)

Then carefully lift off the waxed paper and place on the egg

Let it set for about a minute so it doesn't slide around,
then gently press down on the image starting in the middle
and go outward to smooth any wrinkles.
Carefully wipe off any of the medium
that is outside the photo with a damp cloth or your finger.

They MUST dry for 24 Hours
and then the real fun begins!

Place a damp sponge over the image so the entire cut out is wet...

and you can start to see the image through the paper...

Then gently rub the image with a slightly damp sponge or your finger
and your beautiful picture will appear!

Just to give them an extra
Easter Bling
I applied a few coats of
Mod Podge Extreme Glitter over the eggs...

This was the first time I have used Mod Podge and I am hooked!

  8. Would this work on a hard-boiled egg or only the plastic eggs?
