and
I really don't think my family can eat or drink anymore!
So I got zesting...
I love the smell of grapefruit and lavender
and thought the combo would be perfect in bath salts.
I just mixed the epsom salts, grapefruit zest and lavender from our garden all together,
smashing the zest and lavender into the salt with a spoon to help release the oils.
so easy and pretty...
then I went to work on...
I based it on this recipe
in the December issue of Sunset Magazine,
I just altered it slightly by adding a little rosemary.
I can't wait to sprinkle it on fish...
and I decided to try a little Grapefruit Sugar...
I mixed
1 cup of sugar with
3 tablespoons of grapefruit zest
and let dry on a platter over night
recipe using this coming soon
Whew...now I am going to go relax in a grapefruit lavender bath :)

I've never been a huge fan of grapefruit, but these are so cute! Definitely worth getting over the dislike and trying something new. Thanks for the ideas!
