What we ate while we watched...the end of a great season

Well, it was a heartbreaking loss in overtime for San Francisco but
what an exciting and fun season it was!
We saluted the team and city as we watched the game.

The kids enjoyed food celebrating our favorite coaches...

The adults went to Fisherman's Wharf...

mini sourdough bowls with clam chowder shooters
and fresh cracked crab...

a salad for a SF Legend...

Then we finished it off with
a San Francisco dessert and candy bar...

Victorian Houses filled with red and gold treats...

and some San Francisco Hearts that were "left" behind...

(filled with 49er red in the middle)

It's It ice cream sandwiches,
(a staple at any SF sporting event)

and we were so honored that Joe Montana bobbled by...

We can't wait to see what is in store for next year,
Go Niners!

  2. What fun foods! So sorry about your loss. Everyone here was rooting for your Niners. We're all sad it's another NY/Boston championship. The West coast folks don't have anyone to root for...guess we'll skip the Super Bowl this year?

  4. I was rooting for the 49ers since the Packers didn't make it. What a great game. Love your feast, I think I may need to come visit next year if the 49ers make it to the Super Bowl :)

  5. I love all of your creative, fun foods here! And your Golden Gate Bridge Candy Bar is genius. We LOVE SF, so I know my little guys would go crazy for such a fun party... but so bummed that they lost (even though I'm a San Diego girl so I was already bummed about my team this year!) I was definitely wishing for a Harbough brothers Super Bowl. I'm loving your blog by the way- I'm your newest follower and I'd love for you to stop by my blog and follow me back if you'd like.
Have a great rest of the week!
    xo,
    Laurie :)
