After making the infamous
for a school project,
my son wanted to make them at home...
so good...
The only problem was the recipe made over 4 dozen,
we got tired after the 3rd cookie sheet full so Jack decided to...
make a JUMBO one to go along with the JUMBO card
for his teacher's birthday...
(and he delightfully called it a "cookie on steroids")
(and he delightfully called it a "cookie on steroids")
and rumor has it that is was enjoyed by her whole clan :)
Love that your son is as thoughtful as his mama. Giving genes obviously run in the family!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that recipe, by the way...and it indeed makes a mountain of cookies!

ReplyDeleteIf you click on where it says Neiman Marcus Cookies on the 2nd line there is a link to the recipe
DeleteWhen I saw the name of this cookie, I had to chuckle. This cookie recipe used to be passed around as an old MAIL rumor, not E-MAIL. This was before the invent of the internet. My mom received it and I remember her talking about the rumor. Some woman (yes, rumors always are a bit anonymous) had asked for the Neiman Marcus recipe and the company sent her the recipe and the bill for $250! So this poor woman, in order to pay for the cost of the recipe was selling the recipe for $1 a copy. Funny.
