Stephanie and Julienne...in a California "wrap"

The 2nd half of Stephanie's Birthday present is a Julienne Cookbook.

It is our favorite place to go, when back in our home town.

A quaint spot with the best food,

and you have to go into their shop after lunch and get their caramels!

Since Stephanie does not live in California any more,

I wrapped the book in a colorful golden state tea towel...

marked our town with a cake...

and tied it all up with kitchen twine and a whisk...

I only wish I had some of those caramels to stick in the bag!
