5th Grade Graduation is just a few days away and
I know I am not the only mom anticipating a few tears.
I am preparing for the flood with tissue holders
to get through the ceremony.
Just a little something for
friends who have been there for
the laughter and tears
over the last 6 years of Elementary School.
I tried to make them pretty to disguise the inevitable
"Ugly Cry"...
(if you watch Oprah you know what I mean :)
Your friends are so lucky to have you there!!! I was at your Rye friend's house today ---- and we're making a plan for you to come visit --- might even bring a few laughs and tear or two:)
ReplyDeleteI cant believe my beautiful Goddaughter is graduating!!!!! LOVE this idea!!!! SNIFF SNIFF
ReplyDeleteThat is seriously the best idea I have ever seen!! And coming from a "crier" I may need to use this idea in the future, as I do not have enough time to get my act together for kindergarten graduation this Thursday! Your creativity is very inspiring and hopefully I will get to meet you when you make your trip to Rye!!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth-I can't wait to come back...I can not believe it has been 2 years!
ReplyDeleteSteph-not only is she graduating, she is getting braces TOMORROW and has "a date" for the summer carnival this weekend.
Anonymous-I am so curious...who are you?? Love to meet you in Rye!
This is the cutest & most thoughtful idea I have seen in ages! If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, you should consider yourself FLATTERED. I love your blog - so grateful that you visited me - thank you!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen
