What to do when you are double booked for your BFFs Birthday...

My ten year old daughter is devastated, we have plans that we can not change and she is going to miss

her best friend's birthday party.

{and BTW my daughter tells me I am way to old to say BFF}

We had Megan over tonight for a sleepover and surprised her with

a mini birthday party to make up for the party Carolyn will miss.

Cheeseburgers, homemade French Fries

and Kara's Cupcakes were on the menu.

We got Megan a few funny gifts and a certificate for the girls to get their nails done...

Still not the same, I am anticipating tears next weekend but we had a great time tonght!
